Over the course of 3 months learn the simple art of breath centred meditation to generate calm in your mind, body and life. Each month attend a masterclass to develop your skills and refine your practice.

About this Event

Meet monthly for a meditation training and guidance session to support you and your family in creating calm.The steady practice with monthly masterclass allows your to build a personal practice and to put your skills to the test.

You will explore meditation focusing on the power of the breath to steady mind and body. You will learn and practice meditation that allows you to reconnect to your inner stillness.This practice is for everybody, mixed ages and stages. Meditation is a great way to support wellness of body, mind and spirit. We have a flexible supportive community environment.

Breath centred meditation improves our physical body and our subtle energy body, building more calm into our lives .As you learn the art of breath to calm body and mind you can build these practices into your family's self-care toolkit too.

What to expect: The 3 month course:Each month you will join a 90 min meditation training workshopThe training allows you to learn the breathe centred meditation skills and apply them within your day.

Each month you will receive a short online self reflection survey allowing you to self monitor how your meditation is supporting you and improving your health and wellbeing.Within each workshop you will practice the skills, ask questions to support your practice, share in hints and tips and learn new tools to add to your meditation toolkit.

The meditation training:The meditation practice will be modelled and introduced in stages to foster confidence.You will explore the breath in a series of short staged sits with an opportunity for Q& A and debriefs along the way.You will be encouraged and supported to initiate a home practice.You will be guided as to how you can offer these skills to the lives of your little ones.

The Teacher: Carolyn is a Hatha Yoga and Meditation teacher, who developed her practice to support her own healing after major injury. "Meditation alongside yoga and energy healing transformed my life, restored my body and eliminated the chronic pain." She has 18 years as an educator and wellbeing leader supporting young people and teachers in schools. She has developed successful programs and pilot studies on the benefits of daily meditation in schools to support wellness and learning.
